Our Palomar Pulsed Light System offers you a lasting solution for unwanted hair on your face and body. Concentrated light pulses are focused on the area of treatment. The light is absorbed by the pigment, or color, in the follicles and converted to heat. This heat is what destroys the hair and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair. This is very similar to a laser, but the larger window allows the faster coverage of the area. Results are as reliable as a laser, but the Palomar can treat ALL SKIN TYPES. The state of art cooling apparatus in the hand piece cools the skin to allow for more comfortable treatments and is very skin-safe. This is a FDA approved treatment for PERMANENT hair reduction.

Your complimentary consult will include a skin analysis, assessment of the growth in the area to be treated, and a "spot test". The spot test allows us to assess how your skin will respond to the treatment, and also allows you to experience the sensation.
